Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, renowned spirits company, has created a new trade support programme to help retailers make the most of their spirit, RTD and sparkling wine offering. Named ‘Your Store’, the website is an innovative tool that assists retailers to drive sales of sparkling wine, spirits and ready to drink (RTD) spirits by offering category, range and merchandising advice tailored to suit any store type, from high street to forecourt.

Worth £3.5bn and accounting for almost a quarter of all alcohol sales, spirits grew by 9% in convenience last year making it an essential category. Spirit shoppers spend on average £15.31 in comparison to £5.53 – a clear turnover and profit opportunity for retailers.  However, with 36% of shoppers preferring not to purchase spirits from convenience stores, instead buying these items on their main shop, and 55% citing price as their main purchase barrier, its essential to get range, merchandising, pricing and promotions right in order to drive sales.

The ‘Your Store’ website offers retailers impartial advice on ranging and must stocks, merchandising top tips and planograms as well as downloadable point of sale to support promotions and key in-store events.
